America’s Promise Alliance State Project The America’s Promise Alliance State Project jumpstarted five state-level projects in 2006. Georgia joined four other states (IA, PA, NM, WA) by showcasing a different leadership model for collaboration and impact.
GAIC’s primary objectives for this project were 1) To dramatically increase our ability to communicate with key stakeholders. 2) Deepen our individual and collective relationships with the private sector, while engaging America’s Promise sites in our work.
This initiative identified ways to strengthen communities in Georgia through offering Effective Education and More Opportunities to Help Others which are two of America’s Promise promises.
