The Georgia Afterschool Professional Development Team is comprised of individuals who will develop a plan to strengthen Georgia’s professional development infrastructure for afterschool and summer learning programs. This team is comprised of persons who are in a position to impact policies and/or practices related to quality and professional development, offer trainings, and/or serve children and youth in afterschool and summer programs directly.
 
This team opportunity builds on individual and collective efforts to offer high-quality professional development and training opportunities in Georgia and to recognize and enhance the work in progress. This effort is the beginning of a larger commitment to a statewide afterschool professional development system.
