GSAN and GUIDE are excited to announce the opportunity for afterschool and out-of-school time programs to join a high-quality Service Learning Cohort that will provide training, resources and support around infusing Service Learning into programs.
The Service Learning Cohort (SLC) will kick off on May 8 at a day-long training and last through October 31, culminating with the Georgia ASYD Awards event in Fall 2019. The SLC is open to all afterschool and out-of-school time programs who meet the criteria below.
The out-of-school setting is the perfect opportunity for young people to learn how to become involved in service activities in their community, enhance their interpersonal skills through service and develop the knowledge to become engaged citizens. GSAN and GUIDE are pleased to be able to provide the opportunity for your organization to develop a team that is trained in Service Learning to give new skills and experiences to young people in your programs!
