DESCRIPTION:Afterschool Professionals Appreciation Week (APAW) is almost he
 re — taking place April 20–24\, 2026 — and the National AfterSchool 
 Association is once again leading this national effort to recognize\, appr
 eciate\, and advocate for the professionals who make out-of-school time pr
 ograms possible.\n\nAcross the country\, more than 850\,000 afterschool pr
 ofessionals support young people’s learning\, development\, and well-bei
 ng every day. They are mentors\, educators\, and trusted adults who create
  safe\, engaging environments where youth can thrive. APAW is our opportun
 ity as a field to come together and elevate their impact.\n\nJoin Us in Ce
 lebrating #HeartOfAfterschool\n\nWe invite you\, our partners\, affiliates
 \, and members\, to participate in APAW by sharing your appreciation and u
 plifting afterschool professionals across your networks.\n\nWhether you’

 e helps amplify the message: afterschool professionals are essential\, and
