Anthony Wilkes is the Afterschool Sustainability AmeriCorps VISTA (Volunteers in Service to America) at GSAN. With a focus on increasing equity in education, Anthony is leading efforts to develop statewide systems and practices that enhance high-quality afterschool and summer learning in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM). His mission is to engage and help serve underserved low-income students in rural communities.

As an advocate for quality education, Anthony supports afterschool and summer learning providers in improving their STEAM programming through professional development initiatives. He also plays a crucial role in statewide communication, outreach, and advocacy for OST (Out-of-School Time) STEAM education.
