Gregory Doss is the Senior Program Specialist for the Georgia Statewide Afterschool Network
As Senior Program Specialist for the Georgia Statewide Afterschool Network, Gregory is responsible for building partnerships with school districts across the state and providing support to districts and schools utilizing appropriated funding to support students through afterschool and/or summer learning programs. Additionally, he cultivates relationships with Local Education Agencies (LEAs), state agencies, community-based programs, and key educational stakeholders.
Gregory holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Policy and Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi and is completing a Masters in Public Policy and Administration from Jackson State University. A motivational speaker and group facilitator, Gregory’s leadership qualities and scholarship have earned him several distinguishing awards and honors. He was recognized for his work in youth development by the Mississippi Legislative Black Caucus and, in 2019, Gregory received certification in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion from Cornell University. Currently, he holds memberships in the University of Southern Mississippi National Alumni Association ad Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
