Tiffany Thornton is a Senior Program Specialist at the Georgia Statewide Afterschool Network (GSAN).

As Senior Program Specialist, Tiffany will provide the BOOST grant program with critical administrative support within a federally-funded grant program in the areas of subgrantee technical assistance, budget management, and provider quality supports. In addition, she will provide direct assistance to a large portfolio of subgrantees and implement the professional development and quality support plan. Prior to joining GSAN, Tiffany committed her time and talents to the work of youth development as a member of a national nonprofit organization that provides youth access to caring and supportive adults who believe in their unlimited potential. Her experience as a leader, thought partner, program manager, grants manager and events manager has allowed her to not only witness but contribute to programs and experiences that put youth needs and interests ahead of all else.

Tiffany holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Education focusing on Health Promotion and Behaviors from the University of Georgia in Athens, GA.  As a Georgia native, she is passionate about serving youth across the state and focusing on the key areas of healthy minds and bodies and quality out of school time. At this stage in her career, she is devoted to achieving a balance of work and life that allows for her to continue the good work of serving youth while living a life full of favor and joy centered in self-care and quality time with her family
