High quality summer learning programs can stem learning loss, close educational and opportunity gaps, support the positive development of the whole child, and can be a key strategy to improving child well-being. The Greater Atlanta Summer Learning Council has developed a shared region-wide summer learning agenda to promote equity and ensure all of Greater Atlanta’s youth have access to high quality affordable summer learning opportunities.

Innovative Partnerships: Reimagining Summer Learning

Georgia’s educators have worked tirelessly to support student academic progress, provide opportunities for social-emotional and interpersonal connections, access to healthy meals and physical activity, and a system of support for families.
